The man was watching the old man from outside his house, As he was lerking from the outside window he noticed the old man was peacefully sleeping, so he decided to go inside and watch him sleep.

When the man walked inside the old man's house to the living room where the old man was soundly sleeping .

As he watched the old man sleeping he just stood there listening to nothing but silence.

As the man tried murdering the old man, the old man woke up and started yelling. The man had killed him and the old man had passed. 

The police arrived at the old man's house. They got a complaint from the neighbors that they heard a bad yell. The man stepped outside with his hands up. Policemen ran inside to check around the house, they found the old mans body upstairs in a bedroom where the old man had been.

They took the man to the police station for questioning. As the policeman was talking the man couldn't stop hearing a thumping noise. Once he realized what it was he couldn't focus on the question he was getting asked. He kept hearing the old man's heart beating and finally admitted he killed him.
