- I don't care what you say. I am not helping him if he does not respect me.
- The story illustrates a conflict I had with my brother about I am always waiting for him to get ready in the morning. I like having a schedule meaning I want to leave the house at a specific time so I will not be late to school, but my brother does not care about my time even though I am driving him, causing an argument between us. The conflict was handled in an unhealthy manner because instead of talking it out nicely with each other, we began yelling and shouting mean/insulting words to each other. In addition, I went to my mom and complained rather than talking it out with my brother because I now caused an issue for my mom. The conflict was unhealthy as it was addressed in a aggressive manner and caused addition burden on other people around us. For this conflict to be addressed in a healthy manner, my brother and I should have made a compromise about how to respect reach other's needs and wants. The solution to the conflict would have appeared earlier if we did not perform an unhealthy example of how to approach a conflict.
