- Tom and John are both excited for Meg's party tonight. There's going to be music, dancing and a lot of alcohol. Tom makes sure to uber to the party to eliminate the risk of driving home drunk. While John on the other hand decides to drive…
- After having the night of their life. Tom asks John to share an uber, but John refuses claiming he’s sober enough to drive. This is a common misconception amongst drunk drivers as alcohol does not leave your system until 25 hours after consumption.
- Nah, I'm good I feel sober enough to drive.
- Hey John, do you want to share an uber with me?
- Unfortunately, John will never arrive home. While driving across a bridge he lost control and his car slid off the bridge and fell into the ocean. While under the influence your reaction time significantly decreases by 2 seconds, leaving you vulnerable to roadway hazards. Drunk driving kills. Not only does drunk driving result in 1 in 3 traffic fatalities but drunk driving also accounts for the death of other people. If you are ever drinking, don't ever be John, be Tom and Uber home.
