- Lian stays with Teresa. In 1998, While Logan was quietly trailing Virgil, he heard a conversation between three Black Baton terrorist, along with Norbert, talking about a missile strike and invasion on Washington D.C. where Markinson is. Logan finds and elimates Norbert Easton and continues searching for Virgil.
- Virgil Polk Made His Way In New Mexico
- While ex-filtrating Black Baton Base in New Mexico, Logan reports to Teresa that the missile strike to Washington D.C. from Turkey is a dud and another distraction to lure everyone against Virgil Polk away from its capitol to make the invasion easier.
- Virgil Polk's Plan Publicly Exposed
- Norbert will be wearing heavy body armor and flak jacket. Explosives or headshots using .50 caliber weapons will do the trick. Virgil will be in an armored vehicle. If the armored vehicle is nearly destroyed, he will try to ride in a helicopter and attack from the air. Player has 30 seconds to do it before he boards the helicopter. He can be captured by melee takedown or a flashbang. He can be shot down with any weapons, it doesn't have to be launchers. Virgil can be killed by using anti-armored explosives, if done by detonated them all at once and destroying the vehicle itself.
- All Threats Neutralized
- Markinson stayed in D.C., as he knew and explained to the C.I.A. the missile strike was fake. Lian goes to China to speak to MSS director while Logan, Ellis, and Teresa stayed in their New Mexico safehouse to find and eliminate Polk. Teresa parked her helicopter across Polk's vehicle depot. A train was leaving that lead to his base. Two choices to be made. Drive to Polk's base and end up fighting enemies or take the train there and remain undetected.
- The helicopter would have been shot down by enemy helicopters. Teresa, Gabe and Ellis arrive at the terrorist base built on a large pasture. There were vehicles packed with poison gas to target all Maryland government buildings to smuggle Soviet agents within. Teresa creates a diversion at the river. Gabe and Ellis enters through the front blasting the locked door.
- Virgil Polk and his crew were defeated. Polk's last moments of his life were spent being questioned, why is he affiliated with Pharcom, Rhomer and Aramov. He motives were revealed by crushing NATO during the Cold War era and to finish help expanding Soviet Influence. Polk is an American with Eastern-European ancestry. He thought moving to New Jersey during 1964, would have cleverly worked but failed for making too many impulsive decisions above NATO's notice.
