- Rainsford and Whitney are talking about hunting on a yacht and Rainsford falls of the boat when Whitney goes to sleep.

- Rainsford ends up finding a remote island where he meets a man called general Zaroff.
- Falling action
- As they talk rainsford realises that General is hunting for people. Rainsford became a target for the General, Rainsford ends up escaping everytime.
- Resolution
- Rainsford almost got caught by the general so he jumps into the sea. The general thinks that Rainsford escaped or died.
- The general goes home and has dinner while getting ready to rest. When the general goes into his room he sees Rainsford in his bedroom ready to fight.
- General Zaroff and Rainsford both fight. At the end of the fight Rainsford wins.
