- Siblings Charlie and Alex enter their local library. This is younger sibling Charlie’s first time in a library and they want to explore and understand how it all works. Older sibling Alex needs some study time and homework help from a tutor.

- Alex helps Charlie get to the children’s area and makes sure they’re comfortable and situated before heading over to find a private study room. Charlie is nervous though because everything is very new and unfamiliar. They are starting to become anxious.
- I'm going to go study. Will you be okay on your own?
- I guess...
- Charlie is uncomfortable with Alex not being nearby. A librarian arrives to help make Charlie more comfortable but Charlie is nervous interacting with the stranger. Eventually the librarian is able to ease Charlie’s discomfort and gets them more familiar with the library.
- Is this your first time at the library?
- Charlie eventually becomes bored with waiting for Alex to finish their homework. The librarian returns and helps alleviate their boredom by introducing them to age appropriate computer learning games.

- After they are finished on the computer, Charlie finds a book they wish to take home but they don’t have a library card and are worried they won’t be able to get one without parental permission and identifying information.
- What if I'm not allowed to check out this book because I don't have a card?
- Alex and Charlie reunite. Alex (who has a library card) and the librarian teach Charlie how to check out a book and explain how Charlie can acquire their own library card at a later date. Charlie and Alex leave the library.
- You can use your older sibling's card to check out your book!
