- We are slaves in the southern region we sleep in tiny little beds and we get no money for the work we do!
- Lived in south carolina
- We have to clean this shed out and then go work on the farm all night we are going to get no sleep
- were back out on the farm sometimes the work that we do makes us go on our hands and knees we are out here all day. we never get a break
- we got no education because when we were a kid they shipped us here and then sold us to out master and now we work here.
- We as slaves have no rights, we cannot vote or own any land.
- we have no idea what is happing in the political world because we are not aloud to vote.
