- Boy! did she hit the ceiling. When she found out I took Old Phoebe out of school, she called be a failure and told me I'm going to military school
- This place was worsethan watching Ackley cut his damn nasty ass nail on my floor. All of these phoney men made me more depressed.
- Your allowed to go come for three days.
- As soon as I got back in town the ducks crossed my mind oughta see them. I thought they might need a little company. I took out Allie's old mitt I swear this damn mitt making me blue. All of a sudden I was sort of in a mood to horse around with the ducks- I felt like jumping off the rock into the pond and chasing the ducks and putting one of them in a wrestling hold.

- I damn near broke my crazy neck when I hear Old Phoebe soft voice. I made sure to told her I didn't get kicked out. She didn't believe me and I was like I'M DEAD SERIOUS. I didn't want Old Phoebe to get in trouble so I took her home. Seeing Old Phoebe and the duck oiled me up.
- You two are both nuts. I'm tired of hearing you guys chewing the fat about me. You adults are hella phoney and immature .

- This damn hat that I loved so fucking much disappointed me. The only thing that made me feel me. I bought the word phoney life, i can't believe I became one. It ruined my life.
