- This shows that a person might change their mind about the US that they can’t go there because people only speak one language. Since there is no official language of the US, people can understand parts of the culture. This shows that the US is diverse to other cultures around the world.

- This aspect of cultural identity impacts a person’s view of the US because they could realize that professional athletes can make lots of money. If you’re good at a sport you could make a career out of it. Playing sports will always help in life, especially with physical health.
- “Since the mid-20th century it has also become a multi-billion dollar industry.”
- This aspect of cultural identity impacts a person’s view of the US because it shows that so many cultures helped shape US cuisine. A person would be affected by this because it would show them that lots of different cultures have shaped the US and there isn’t only one culture. People should be excited to live here.
- “Families and friends eat out often, and the nation's restaurants offer popular dishes from nearly every spot on Earth: Chinese, Italian, Mexican, and French cuisines have long been mainstays, but in recent years Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Middle Eastern cooking traditions have all gained in popularity.
