- When Bud and Jerry were in line for breakfast, the lady from the orphanage came to tell them they were moving to live with new families.
- Bud and Tod get into a fight, and as a result Bud gets punished by being locked in the shed in the backyard with all the bugs.
- Bud escapes the shed and runs away from the Amos's house to the library to get help from Miss Hill. The basement is locked so then he had to sleep underneath the Christmas tree.
