Storyboard Text
- It's July 1849 and they made it to California! They settled east of Sacramento.
- They start panning for gold
- September 1849: They still haven't found any gold. John starts to get frustrated
- Toby gets very sick and John needs to take care of him for a month. He won't be able to search for gold
- Finally, John found a nugget!!
- They sell the gold and become rich. Toby wouldn't have had the great life he did without John, and John wouldn't have made it to California without Toby. They were friends forever
