The Battle of Hastings
Storyboard Text
- Harold Godwinson marches his army (the Anglo-Saxons) over to fight for his right to become king.
- COME!
- They reach their destination and make an army of shields. The Normans attack them.
- Eventually, the wall breaks and the Anglo-Saxons turn and fight. The Normans, thinking William is dead, run down the hill.
- The king is dead! RUN!
- Then, the Normans decided to turn around and fight and killed many Anglo-Saxons. William comes running up the hill to show he was alive.
- The Normans realised their trick worked and did it again with the comfort of knowing William was alive. The Anglo-Saxons fell for it.
- Eventually, Harold is hit in the eye by an arrow and dies. The Normans win the battle.
