- If I had enough land I wouldnt fear the Devil himself.
- I would not trade my life with yours, it may be rough down here but at least we are free of anxiety.
- I would never live here, its so rough and my life in the city is so glamourous and perfect.
- Pahom joins into his dughters argyment and tell them he would fear the devil if he had more land. However the devil is listening near by.
- FOR SALE
- Hmmm...ok fine!
- Pahom heres of a lady landonwer is wanting to give up her property and he wants to buy so he begs her.
- Can I please buy your land for thirty acres?
- After Pahom buys the land people and animals keep trepassing and he brings them to court;
- And what is the reason you are here sir?
- This peasant won't stop tresspassing on my land your Honor!!!!
- Hey man what gives!!!??
- Why dont you come with me Pahom, I can take you to a land that is plentiful.
- I can no longer afford to keep this land.
- I will buy this land from you sir.
- Pahom is about to buy land from a bankrupt peasant when a merhcant interuptes and tells him about Bashkirs and how plentiful it is.
- Later that night Pahom has a dream where the merchant, and traveling peasant turn into the devil. They stand over a man who is naked and laying on the floor, they laugh. When Pahome looks he sees it's him.
- The next day Pahom is working his hardest to earn the land he wants so badly. But by the time dusk comes around he had worked so much that he died of exhaustiton, his workman digs a grave for Pahom and burries him
