Sherlock and Watson sit at their desk going over many of their previous cases, reminiscing of all the tragic and and strange ways they solved them
Sherlock after waking up Watson early in the morning is already dressed to come and meet destress Mrs Stoner after she is finally opening up to what happened to her sister
All of the Stoner family was happy, Mother, step-father, Helen and Julia, until Mothers untimely death and then the new move into the old, haunted house happened, also around the time Dr Roylott had given up trying to establish himself
Sherlock was sat back relaxing on his chair when Mrs Stoner suddenly got to the part of her story about her sisters untimely death and the horror of it in the house with her step-father
The story continued with when Helen foundher sister. Helens sister appeared pale and her face flushed with terror, her figure was swaying from side to side as if she was drunk. It was as if she was in terrible pain with all her limbs
The facts weren't adding up, the door was known to be locked from the inside, their was no traces of poison in her system, and there was no site of violence inflicted onto Helen's sister
