Storyboard Text

  • I wish that it was me playing with the soccer ball and all those kids.
  • Hey give it to me
  • HAHA
  • WHAT ARE YOU DOING
  • That's no fair!
  • In this scene I want to show the way how Chris's son is feeling. Chris's son really wants to play soccer with all of the kids in the window. In this scene I would have a very slow and quiet music playing in the background.
  • I am sorry, but we can't. You will be able to later maybe if we have time.
  • Dad, can we go play soccer with those kids.
  • In this scene it shows all the kids having fun playing with the soccer ball. I would change the sounds in this scene. I would choose to have diegetic sounds, of the soccer ball being kicked on the concrete.
  • Dad, where do you think we will be sleeping tonight? Can we sleep in one of those really nice houses where those boys were playing soccer.
  • In this scene, I have made it seem like they are still having lots of fun even though they are arguing about who had the ball. In this scene, I would make the kids sound very loud so that the people in the bus can just hear them.
  • I am so sorry, but we can't afford it, at the moment. Maybe next week we can.
  • That fine dad.
  • In this scene I would lighten the music to almost nothing when Chris's son starts to speak, I would still have the sound of the bus driving. I would also have the camera zoom right into a close up shot to explain the emotions of each character.
  • I think that this scene is very effective because it shows how the boy is feeling and how the boy doesn't understand why he isn't in a house, like the boys that were playing soccer.
  • In this scene, I want the atmosphere to feel sad and how the boy is feeling very clueless about why he isn't living in a house like everybody else.
