- look at all these people, why do they look like that? what's wrong with them?
- i cannot live like this anymore! the poor people are suffering while i'm living in a dream, i'll become one of them!
- Siddhartha's mother had a very peaceful birth but she died when he was little, an old wise man told his parents that if he ever saw death, suffering, pain he will become an wise man too and the father did not want that so he kept Siddhartha in the palace for 29 years. he didn't know what old age or sickness or even death meant, he got everything he wanted...
- one day he decided that he finally wanted to know what's behind the gate and see the world and when he left the palace he saw everything his father was hiding from him, old age, sickness, death..
- Siddhartha knew that it wasn't right for him to keep living the life he used to live where he got everything so he left the palace and lived as an wise man..
- i've been living like this for the past years, this is not the right life to live either! i need balance.
- after years of living in the forest he knew it wasn't the right life either he was starving and was getting very ill, eating dirt and drinking mud water he left and needed to find balance to be in between..
- so he sat under a bodhi tree and meditated until he finally got enlightened..
- Buddha started to spread his teaching about life to people that we are reborn. He told his followers that death and suffering are apart of life.
