- Life is unbearable!
- $7-8 a day is not going too cut it!
- I am out of here, life would be so much better in a place like the U.S.
- Hondurans thought life was unbearable with all the major storms and hurricanes occurring so often.
- I thought I was gonna die of hunger, but I made it too the U.S!
- The economy was so corrupted, even shop owners barely made $7-8 in a whole day of hard work. This means they didn't even make profit.
- We have multiple spots open and would love to hire you for a minimum wage of 12$ an hour!
- When they had enough, they decided it would be worth the days worth of travelling too get to the U.S. So they packed up and started travelling.
- Look mom and dad! I learned all about plants!
- Traveling took days, and hardly anyone made it. Especially with little food, money and water, the chances of arriving were very small.
- In the U.S, there were a lot more job opportunities with a lot higher of pay. Getting a job was the first thing the people wanted.
- Not only was life better for them, but having a child was easier and better in the U.S. They also grew up with a better childhood and education.
