- Hey it's Anhur and today I'm supposed to tell you about the Cell Theory.
- First I'll tell you the parts. First all living things like Wolfie here. Secondly, all cells come from preexisting cells. Lastly, cells are the basic structure and function of all living things.
- Lastly there is Rudolph Virchow who told Schleidon and Virchow (who were fighting over cells just appeared or if they came from preexisting cells) that cells came from preexisting cells.......... which was ehhhhhhh "borrowed" information from Robert Remack.
- First there was Zacharias Jansen a spectacle maker in the Netherlands who invented the first microscope.
- Anton van Leeuwenhoek decided to make his own microscope. He ran around town looking at things. While looking at teeth he thought that the bacteria (wasn't called that then) looked like animals and called them "animalcules".

- While looking at a piece of cork he noticed tiny spots that looked like cells (the room). Hooke is blurry because after a fight with Newton Isaac destroyed his only portrait so we don't know what Hooke looks like.

- Then there is Matthias Schleidon who discovered all plants are made out of cells (the one with flaming wheat) and his partner Theodore Schwann who discovered that all animals are made of cells (the one with the kitten).
- That was the history of the Cell Theory. BYE!
