  • And what to?
  • Am I like such a fellow?
  • Thou art like one of these fellows that, whenhe enters the confines of a tavern, claps me hissword upon the table and says “God send me noneed of thee” and, by the operation of the secondcup, draws him on the drawer when indeed there isno need.

  • an egg is full of meat, and yet thy head hath beenbeaten as addle as an egg for quarreling. Thou hastquarreled with a man for coughing in the streetbecause he hath wakened thy dog that hath lainasleep in the sun. Didst thou not fall out with a tailorfor wearing his new doublet before Easter? Withanother, for tying his new shoes with old ribbon? And yet thou wilt tutor me from quarreling?

  • And but one word with one of us? Couple itwith something. Make it a word and a blow
  • Conversation continues between Mercutio and Benvolio...
  • Well, peace be with you, sir. Here comes my man
  • Men’s eyes were made to look, and let them gaze.I will not budge for no man’s pleasure, I.
  • Tybalt in the middle and others enter and start to approach Benvolio and Mercutio
  • Romeo, the love I bear thee can affordNo better term than this: thou art a villain.
  • But I’ll be hanged, sir, if he wear your livery.Marry, go before to field, he’ll be your follower.Your Worship in that sense may call him “man.”
  • The conversation continues with Mercutio and Tybalt about the two famaily's
