- With the help of technology, students are able to explore their curiosity in so many different ways, and research a multitude of topics with ease.
- Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) works hand in hand with technology to help elevate the 21st century classroom.
- IBL is student lead learning.
- With the help and guidance of their teachers, students are encouraged to inquire - or ask questions about a topic to get a deeper understanding of what that topic is about.
- By also doing research, projects and presentations, students are able to get a thorough understanding of the topic that they are learning about.
- IBL uses a collaborative or team approach as well - this helps students to learn how to find solutions to problems by working together.
- By reflecting on the process of the lesson itself, students can think about how AND what they learned.
- Having students reflect on what they learned is the last key step in the IBL process.
