- Duties are something that you must do and they will keep you safe from going to jail. Responsibilities are something that you can do so that you can keep the community clean and safe.
- I know that you are already tired of me talking about the duties that we have but I just found out we need to participate in democratic processes.
- People that are citiznes of the U.S have to particiapte in democratic proccesses.
- Oh my gosh I have already learned about that but what do you mean we "have to participate in the democratic processes?". Don't we have the right to choose to or not to?
- Well, I don't think we have to participate it because it just mean's to vote. If you don't vote you are just staying nuetral I think,
- Participating in the democratic process just means to vote so that your favored leader can support your intrests.It is nothing bad.
- Ok that makes me feal ten times better. I thought when you said democratic process I was thinking of riots and things like that. Thanks for letting me know.
- If each one is bad, just don't vote.
- I understand that but, what if each one is bad?
- Well it is important to also participate inside of democratic processes. If you have the choice between a president that keeps on raising taxes and doesn't help out the economy, then the voting is important to eliminate him and have a better president.
- Do not break into houses because you will be caught and just don't do anything against the law because that is a responsibility.
- I think they said that there were jewlery in this house. Lets break into it.
- Call 911 or put it on video so that he won't get away with it.
- Now you know what the duties and responsibilities are as being a citizen of the United States.Duties EX:Pay Taxes and obeying the law.Responsibility EX:Helping the community out.
