- Hi,I'm Amima and I'm a Taino person. Today I will be telling you all about Taino people! So come on and let's go see!
- Agriculture is important to us. Men harvest corn, nuts, cassava and other roots. Boys hunt from fowls to flocks.
- Our religion is who we are, Our people are kind and humble. They are compassionate and caring. We are excellent sea people. We know how to navigate.
- Goverment is how we live our life.We have community leaders(caciques)like the one standing next to me. We have trading people who trade across the Carribean. We also have medicine peopl(behiques) who give us medicine and keep us healthy,
- Our art/architecture was the most outstanding part of us. We built small clean houses because we had a big population. We had dances and we told stories.
- Some interesting facts about us is that we speak the language Arawak, we have a peaceful ecosystem and we built canoes which could hold up to 100 people. I hope you enjoyed learning about Taino life. Bye!
