- When Hercules was born in Thebes he was originally thought to be the son of Amphtitryon and was originally named Alcides but he was actually Zeus's Son, when he was less than a year old he strangled 2 snakes in his crib while laughing. The blind Prophet in Thebes said he would be "The hero of all mankind".
- Hercules Married Princess Megara and had 3 children from her but one day Hera, Zeus's wife who was jealous of Hercules for being Zeus's son sent a madness upon him and he killed his wife and 3 children. Hercules blamed himself for this and would've killed himself if not for Theseus the king of Athens stopping him.
- Hercules went to the Oracle in Delphi where the priestess agreed with Hercules that he was responsible for the deaths and needs to be purified. She sent him to his cousin Eurystheus, King of Mycenae and told Hercules to do whatever Eurystheus asked of him. Eurystheus gave him 12 near impossible labors to do that were called "the labors of Hercules". The first one was to kill the Lion of Nemea without using weapons because they did not effect the lion.
- After Hercules finished the 12 labors he fought the river god Achelous because the river god was in love with Deianira, the girl Hercules wanted to marry. Achelous took the form of a bull and they fought but Hercules won and broke off his leg and married Deianira
- Hercules died in a pyre because his wife Deianira had received news he was madly in love with Iole, a maiden, so his wife thought it was time to use a love potion which was in reality a poison. She sent a robe with the potion ad after he wore it a fearful pain seized him which felt like a burning fire. Because he was a demi-god he could not be killed with the poison. The pain felt like torture, So in order to relieve himself of the pain he was going to kill himself. He ordered a great pyre be built on Mount Oeta, where he burned himself and died.

- After Hercules died he went to Heaven where he married Hebe the daughter of Hera.
