- What is SOHCAHTOA?
- SOHCAHTOA ?
- It helps us remember the definitions of trigonometric functions; sine, cosine and tangent, which are only applicable to right angle triangles.

- In a right angle triangle the hypotenuse will always stay as the longest side however the other 2 change depending on the position of theta (our angle)

- Relative to theta, the opposite and adjacent can change. The opposite will always be opposite to theta, while the adjacent will be to the side of theta that is not the hypotenuse.

- In SOHCAHTOA, the letters indicate the function and the ratios that are included in it, ie in SOH the function is sine and the ratios are opposite and hypotenuse
- SOHsin(θ) = Opposite/HypotenuseCAHcos(θ) = Adjacent/HypotenuseTOAtan(θ) = Opposite/Adjacent
- SOHCAHTOA allows us to find unknown side lengths and angles for right angle triangle. We plug in known information (side lengths and angles) and begin to solve. Depending on what were solving for, we either use the normal function or its inverse form. That will be it for class.
