- The Lion and the Mouse

- How DARE you!
- Please spare me! If you let me go, I will surely repay you one day.
- A lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws. A timid little mouse came upon him unexpectedly...
- HELP!!
- In her fright and haste to get away, the mouse ran across the lion's nose. Roused from his nap, the lion laid his huge paw angrily on the tiny mouse, trapping her!
- Allow me to help!
- The lion was very amused to think that the mouse could ever help him. But feeling generous, he let the mouse go.
- Kindness is never wasted.
- Thanks, Mouse!
- Some days later, when the lion was walking in the forest, he was caught in the tangles of a hunter's net. Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring.
- Hearing a familiar voice, the mouse found the lion struggling in the net. Running to him, she gnawed on one of the ropes until it split apart, setting the lion free!
- "You laughed when I said that I would repay you," said the mouse. "Now you see that even a mouse can help a lion."
