  • Good day class! Today I will discuss about the History of Stellar Nucleosynthesis.
  • While I'm discussing , I will do an ask and give points to those who answers my question. 
  • Stellar nucleosynthesis is the process by which elements are created within stars by combining the protons and neutrons together from the nuclei of lighter elements.

  • Sir, using the Gamow's Factor or Gammow-Sommorfeld factor we can get the probability factor of two nuclear particles'..
  • Also, Hans Bethe proposed two cycles. The first one was proton-proton cycle and the second one is CNO or Carbon-Nitrogen-Oxygen Cycle.
  • In 1946, Fred Hoyle suggested that the heavier nuclei are forming in the stars, such as carbon and iron.
  • Later on, Hoyles theory has many corrections.
