- The three witches appear from the storm. The witches make plans to meet again after to confront Macbeth and then quickly disappear.
- "Service to you as a loyal subject is its ow reward."

- At a Military camp near the town of Forres in Scotland. Duncan asks who is bleeding with other people in attendance.
- "My dearest love, Duncan comes her tonight."

- The three witches meet in a thunderstorm with Macbeth and Banquo.
- King Duncan meets with Macbeth Macbeth realizes that he cannot become king if Malcom becomes king.
- Lady Macbeth discovers the witches prophecies and worries about Macbeth, Lady Macbeth plots Duncan's death.
- Lady Macbeth invites Duncan into their castle in hopes of executing their plan.
