- Banned Immigration- On April 6, 1830 Mexico banned immigration because they thought they might lose power on Texas.
- YES, WE ARE!!!!
- American settlers came to Texas because they wanted land for ranching and farming
- Gone To Texas
- Do you want to join us in rebelling against Mexico?
- Rebelling- On June 1832 a group of Anglo settlers made a rebellion against Mexican rule.
- YES, WE WILL!!!
- Texas made a petition- The Texans wanted to become a free state, so they made a petition. Stephen F Austin gave it to the Mexican government. He got arrested for a year.
- Dear Mexico,We want Texas to be a free state. We want you to stop putting all these rules to make it hard for us to live.From, Texas
- Hey, that's our cannon! Give it back.
- The Mexicans gave Texas a cannon to help them stay safe. But when the Mexicans went to go take it back, the Texans refused.
