- Aging Stage
- The oldest child begins to leave the family. The main goal is to organize the family as members leave.
- Starting to refocus on marriage, taking up new hobbies and tasks. There is more time for leisure.
- When the couple starts to retire couple may start to become grandparents. The older couple focus on retirement and newfound freedom.
