- Fern's family pig just gave birth to some babies. Wilbur is the smallest and the weakest baby, and he might not be able to survive as Fern's parents doesnt want him to.
- Wilbur is too small. He can't live!
- Fern thinks Wilbur was still an awesome pig so she saves her life. Fern's mom and dad think Wilbur is pretty swell too, so they took care of him. For Wilbur, life is looking good.
- You saved my life, Fern!
- You are pretty swell, Wilbur!
- Wilbur learns that Fern's dad will probably turn him to bacon and ham. He is super upset about this news. Charlotte and her web helped Wilbur escape the dire fate by making words on her spiderweb.
- I'm gonna turn you into bacon!
- I'm so scared! I might die anytime.
- I am going to try my best to help you survive, Wilbur!
- After all of Charlottes hard work and Wilbur's eyelash bating, he wins a special prize at the country fair.His life is saved!
- Wilbur, you won!
- Charlotte has been feeling ill for a while, and now its really starting to weigh on her. So on the fairgrounds she makes her last "masterpiece"- an egg sac full of soon- to- be spiders. She knows she'll never see them hatch, so Wilbur takes over to make sure the eggs are safe.
- I'll take care of your babies, Charlotte!
- I'm sick.
- Charlotte dies, but her children and grandchildren provide perpetual friends for Wilbur. So now he gets to live instead of being turned into bacon, and he gets lots of new chums every year.
