- I will abdicate my throne and hand over control of Ayodhya to my son Rama.
- You are correct. I'm going to ask Dasharatha for the two boons he promised me. I will demand that he appoint Bharatha as king of Ayodhya and exile Rama to the forest for fourteen years.
- Queen Kaikeyi, don't you think your son, Bharatha, should be crowned king?
- King Dasharatha was heart broken but he was bound to keep his promise. Rama left for the forest without hesitation, accompanied by Sita and Lakshmana. The whole kingdom was grief stricken and Dasharatha died soon after.
- Soorpanakha, a she-demon, wanted to marry Rama and Lakshmana, but they refused. She tried to attack Sita, but Lakshmana stopped her. She went to his brother Ravana, King of Lanka, and demanded that he punish them.
- NO!
- Marry me.
- Lakshmana followed Rama as he went to kill the golden deer Sita had seen. They had no idea it was a trap, and the golden deer was actually Mareecha. Before following Rama, Lakshmana drew a magical line to protect Sita. He said not to cross it, but Sita did and was later abducted by Ravana.
- Rama requested assistance from Hanuman's tribe in rescuing his beloved wife Sita. They agreed on one condition: Rama had to kill Bali, which he did.
- Ravana abducted Sita. I tried to help her but was severely injured by Ravana.
- Jatayu, what happened to Sita?
- She crossed the line.
