- Ugh, I can't believe we lost! It's all Mark's fault! He wasn't even involved in the game the whole time!!
- What was that?!?! AHH! Oh my goodness, look at this beauty around me! The snow is glistening like sequins! But where did that snow come from?
- Wait a minute, a crow! Did you do that on purpose Mr. Crow?
- One cold, winter day a boy named Jake was walking in the woods. He was in a bad mood because he had lost his hockey game. He was trudging through the forest not paying any attention to the winter beauty around him.
- HA! Thank you Mr. Crow! If it wasn't for you, I might have missed this beauty of the snow!!
- Suddenly, a dust of snow fell on his head! He was surprised and startled!
- When he looked up into the hemlock tree where the snow had fallen from, he saw a black crow sitting and watching him.
- Jake gave a little laugh to think that a simple, small crow was able to remind him of the beauty in the snow covered forest and forget his troubles.
- He smiled and continued on his way feeling happy. The crow also flew away.
