- STAGE ONE:The “caveman” phase.People are scavenging for food, The birth rate is high just as the death rate. Eloise and David have many children knowing that not many will be able to stay alive due to illness. The total population is low, they have to scavenge and find comfort in each other to stay alive.
- Location: Kentucky
- STAGE TWO:people are having a lower death rate because they have discovered soap, and some sanitization. The birth rate is still high. Stacy and Daniel have multiple children with a higher chance of survival due to the discovery of basic sanitization. The population rate is rising,
- Location: New York
- STAGE THREE:This is the pre industrialism phase. People are focusing hesavily on farming, and have started developing medicine. Khloe and Damien have few children because they have developed some medicines and vaccines. Families now have the opportunity for schooling. Damien is a farmer that supports his family.
- Location: New Jersey
- STAGE FOUR:this is the post industrialism phase. The death rate is low and steady just as the rate of natural increase. Families are choosing to have less children. Kathy and Darren have two kids, They live in the city with lots of work opportunities. Darren works at the plant to support his family while Kathy is a teacher.
