- Brian retrieved his hatchet from within the cave after the conflict with the porcupine and discovered that the hatchet creates sparks.
- Brian goes out to the wilderness to collect some wood for the base of the fire.
- Brian returns back to the cave to create the fire but has trouble creating the fire with the hatchet and wood.
- Brian becomes frustrated and gets out of control and throws the hatchet due to his anger
- All of a sudden the hatchet starts to react to the throw and begins to light up with fire. Brian is scared but goes to check it out.
- Brian starts to learn how to control the flame throwing hatchet and uses it to make the fire and to survive in the wilderness with his time there.
