- Hey, I have a question; Today we learned in class how to multiply fractions, But i didn't really get it. Can you explain it to me
- Oh I understand, But what about multiplying a fraction with a fraction
- we simply multiply the numerator with the whole number, and the denominator stays the same. This is the same from improper and proper fraction
- Oh, It's easy actually. I'll tell you. While multiplying a fraction with a whole number,
- Oh, okay.. So what about multiplying fractions with Mixed fractions or mixed fraction with mixed fractions?
- Oh yea, When multiplying a fraction by a fraction, You have to multiply the numerator with the numerator and the denominator with the denominator.

- To multiply a mixed fraction with another fraction, we have to turn the mixed fraction into improper fractions, then carry out the multiplication. Then after getting the product we have to turn it back into a mixed fraction.
