- You are very culpable with a spray can bottle in your hand. You are obviously the ones to blame. Principals office, now.
- Disparage means to speak with disrespect.
- Shut up, Mr. Dean. I didn't do it. Call my parents, I don't care.
- It is disrespectful to disparage your principal. You get detention now.
- Now David sits in detention. He gets and idea to elude detention and escape.
- Elude means to avoid or escape from, usually by cleverness or quickness.
- Instead, David decided to do his English homework and work on editing his paper.
- Expurgate means to remove all objectionable passages, as in editing a book.
- David decided to go to the park after detention. He seemed to have gotten hurt. Something sharp had poked him and he believed he had been impaled by something on the slide.
- Impale means to pierce with something sharp.
- The scratch David got did not seem inclement or severe. He was happy.
- Inclement means harsh or severe.
