- We have all sorts of great achievements ! We were an advanced civilization after all!
- Our civilization, the Maya is located on a peninsula! A peninsula is an area of land surrounded by water on three sides.
- We, the Maya developed an accurate counting system and calendar to help with our agriculture.
- Are the crops ready to be harvested?
- Despite being such an advanced civilization, the Mayan civilization soon began to decline.
- The crops are ready to be harvested! This calendar sure does come in handy when handling agriculture!
- What types of developments and knowledge do we know of?
- Well, we are one of the few civilizations that came up with the concept of zero. Aside from that, we also developed our own form of hieroglyphics.
- The Mayans built ceremonial centers to practice their religion.
- woahh! it's the Tikal! Let's go worship the gods!
- Tikal is the city and ceremonial center of our civilization. Worshipping was essential to all people of the Mayan civilization.
- Our crops won't grow like they used to, the land is started to degrade!
- What are we going to do?
- Without food, how are we going to live? What do we eat to survive?!
- Soon the only things left were the remains of the Mayan civilization. The Mayan people had disappeared and the Mayan civilization fell apart.
