- The three estates of French society assembled to try to resolve the nation's problems. When the three estates couldn't agree on how to vote, a conflict erupted.
- THE REIGN OF TERROR
- I am the guillotine and I had to put this woman to sleep because she didn't follow the rules.
- Please don't do this! We will do anything for you , if you don't put her to sleep. Please sir.
- The members of the third estates promised not to separate or reassemble until the nation's constitution was created, regardless of the circumstances.

- An angry and hostile mob invaded a state jail, Bastille, on July 14, 1789. They came to demand the massive ammunition stockpiles that were kept within the prison gates.
- NAPOLEON'S Rule!
- Several massacres and public executions occurred after the establishment of the First French Republic during the French Revolution.
- Napoleon began his rule after overthrowing the French government.
- Napolean became stronger and stronger, conquering more countries, to be even more superior.
