- Napoleon Bonaparte was a French General that seized power from the government, using his power to crown himself emperor. He brought an end to the corrupt politicians that ran the French republic, and maintained some of the successful ideas of the French Revolution. He presented equality among citizens and promoted the protection of rights. He remained in power because of his popularity, and considered the peoples vote when making decisions.
- I Crown myself Emperor of France!
- Napoleon was triumphing across Europe, but was overpowered by apposing alliances. He was exiled to an island off the coast of Tuscany, were he would spend no more than a year before making his scene once again. He was defeated for the second time at Waterloo were he would be exiled for the second time. He would not live to see a third exile, and died in isolation five years later.
- Finally, he is not coming back.
- The Bastille was a Prison that represented the governments power over the citizens. During the french revolution the commoners stormed this fort, coming out victorious with more weapons and more freedom.
- CHARGE!
- The storming of the Bastille showed the depleting power of the government..
