Princess and the Frog Reimagined

- Once upon a time, there was a beautiful melanated princess named Tiana. She had a passion for cooking New Orlean cuisine with a twist. Every new dish she made, she would add a specific potion to make it stand out. When she makes her beignets, she sprinkles her fairy dust potion adds sweetness to them.
- When she serving someone who looks like they’re having a bad day, she’ll put a potion in that makes them be happier and be their normal selves. Even without potions, her food was mouthwatering. Delighting all who were lucky enough to try it. It’s always well seasoned, well cooked, sweet and savory, and of course, delicious.
- Everything was good until one day she noticed a frequent customer wasn’t looking themselves. She decided to try something new by adding a potion that would allow others to love themselves to feel better. She served him his food. She watched as he ate. After 3 bites, he began to smile and became all giddy. She felt her heart warm up with excitement. Her intentions were pure but not everybody’s heart was as golden as hers.
- Her arch-nemesis Dr.Facilier got word of the new potion and came up with a plan to steal it. After many hours, he came up with a plan. He would disguise himself as a customer and locate where the potion was located.
- He enters the restaurant. He begins to sit down and spots Tiana. He keeps an eye on her. He sees where she keeps her potions. He finally gets a hold of the potion and leaves right after. Tiana goes to find the potion and notices that it’s missing. She starts to panic. As she goes to go table to table to see if she left it, she notices a trail of the potion going out the restaurant door.
- The adventure for Tiana to find it begins! Her husband, Prince Naveen decides he wants to tag along so she’s not alone. After looking high and low, they end up finding and convincing the Dr. that he doesn’t need a potion for people to love him even more. He just needs to be himself and find his self-worth.
