- ADP then binds to myosin heads, leading to the myso heads to be released. The ADP hydroplyzes and turns into ADP. Then myosin returnsinto the rest position.
- Thetropomyosin thenswivels, which causes the exposure of the binding sites for myosin on the actin filament.

- The myosin heads attach themselves to the binding sites on the actin, which forms myosin crossbridges.

- The myosin heads pivot, which causes the actin filament to pull closer to the center of the sarcomere. Thus releasing ADP
- Contraction of the filaments will continue as you brush your teeth until you stop. This contraction will continue for however long because calcium is present.

- Once you stop brushing your teeth, the calcium will be gone into the sarcoplasmic reticulum. Troponin and tropomyosin will once again cover the binding sites for myosin on the actin filament, and the muscle (bicep brachii) will return to the relaxing position.
