Bunjil the Eagle
Storyboard Text
- In the beginning there was nothing except stars. One star began falling , but while falling it turned into an eagle.
- The eagle was Bunjil. As Bunjil fell he created Mother Earth by blowing air from his beak.
- After creating Mother Earth, Bunjil created animals and people.
- After creating Earth and the beings which lived on it, Bunjil became tired of living on Earth so he asked Bellin-Bellin the musk crow to open his bag filled with wind so he and his family could go into the heavens
- Bellin-Bellin agreed so he opened his bags and a big gust of wind started blowing so Bunjil and his family could fly back to the heavens
- After returning to heaven, Bunjil and his family became stars . They still watch over and guide the Wurundjeri people today .
