- Social Learning Theory (Social Motivation): This theory states that we have the motivation to want to fit into a group. In this commercial, this theory is demonstrated with the shoes being advertised as the "trendiest" on the market now, implying that they are the norm. In a sense, these words also tell the consumer that these shoes have made others happy, including the advertiser, and since it is so commonly bought, it will make them happy too.
- With the warm weather finally setting in, it's the perfect time to purchase the trendiest shoes on the market: Flexers! They come in so many colors, I bought myself a pair too!

- Incentive Theory: This theory simply states that motivation can be caused by the promise of rewards or punishments. In this commerical, the advertiser's offer of a discounted pair along with an order can be seen as a reward that may interest many potential buyers, including the young man to the right. These types of marketing styles are generally favored by consumers because it saves them money while additionally benefitting advertisers by making the purchases of their product more likely.

- Psychodynamic Theory (Psychological Motivation): This theory states that we are motivated by our unconscious mind. When the athlete mentions success and shows it through the first place medal she's wearing, she could be evoking unconscious emotions within certain people who may have experienced failure in the past. Those memories could have caused them to develop a mindset to always try their absolute best now which only makes this product even more appealing.
