- Samuel was scrubing pots with sand with the other little kids there while the older boys cleared a pathway to the bathroom.
- ann has a baby in coming and if its a girl then it will be named virginia and john is the father.
- Captain smith is going to trade gems for corn for the winter so james town can survive
- samuel steals anns baby named virginia but someone found them and samule bribed him to let the baby stay in his tent.
- samuel get in prisoned and was about to get 20 slashes to the back but ann and john begged them to remove his punishment because they found out captin ratclif died.
- samuel lives with ann, john, and virginia but he has to help around and get fire wood for the fire.
