- Uncle Katsuhisa is a loud, disgusting, and talkative person. On multiple occasions, Katie and her family have witnessed him spitting repulsively. He talks quite alot. He does not read the newspaper and is not a very strong person. So in conclusion, Uncle Katsauhisa is a disgusting, talkitive person.

- Lynn is a responsible, courageous, caring, and leader-like person. She is constantly trying to help others and taking charge. In this scene, Lynn is telling Katie to be aware of the racism at their school. Lynn is incredibly smart and has good grades that many teachers know about. This is why I think Lynn is a responsible, courageous, caring, and leader-like person.

- Katie is the main character of the book. She is incredibly naive and very curious. She is constantly questioning the world and everything in it. Katie idolizes her sister and believes she is the best thing ever. She believes her sister is a genius and whatever she does is correct.
