- O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
- With love's light wings did i o'erperch these walls. For stony limits love cannot hold love out.
- Gregory and Sampson, who are Capulet servants, start a fight with Abraham, a Montague servant, in the streets of Verona. The Prince then declares anyone who fights in Verona again will be killed.
- Romeo helps a Capulet servant read invitations, and is invited to the Capulet party.
- Romeo goes to the Capulet party to see Rosaline. Instead he sees Juliet. They dance and then kiss.
- Romeo comes to Juliet's balcony and she asks him to marry her. They as Friar Lawrence to marry them the next day.
- Romeo and Juliet are married the next day by Friar Lawrence
- The next day, Mercutio and Benvolio run into Tybalt, who is a Capulet. Tybalt was looking for trouble and killed Mercutio.
- After the death of Mercutio, Romeo decides to duel Tyablt. Romeo kills Tybalt, and is banished from Verona.
- The Nurse informs Juliet of Tybalt's death, and Romeo's banishment. Lord Capulet decides that Paris will marry Juliet.
- But fettle your fine joints, to go with Paris to Saint Peter's church.
- Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence for help. He gives her a potion to make her look like she is dead, so she can sneak away to be with Romeo. He sends Friar John to give Romeo the message.
- Lord and Lady Capulet find Juliet's body.
- But one poor one, one poor and loving child. Cruel death hath catched it from my sight!
- Romeo buys poison after he hears of Juliet's death, to kill himself. He believes this is the only way he can be with Juliet. He is unaware that he is not dead, because Friar John could not get the message to him.
- O happy dagger!
- Romeo and Paris go to the crypt to see Juliet. In the crypt, they duel eachother, and Romeo kills Paris
- Friar Lawrence goes to meet Juliet, but he is too late. Romeo already drank the poison.
- When Juliet wakes up, she sees Romeo dead. Friar Lawrence wants her to leave, but instead she kills herself with a sword.
- After the death of their children, Lord Capulet and Lord Montague end their feud.
