- Emilio Aguinaldo is leading his country to its death for no greater reason than his over-optimistic viewpoint of freedom!

- Filippino man doesn't want American Protection
- A Filipino and an American are arguing about the current state of the Philippines. The American should accept the kind rule of America and give in to it. He also states that Emilio Aguinaldo is killing his citizens needlessly. The Filipino thinks that America's imperialistic nature is untamed, excessive and destroying what could be perfectly fine nations.
- President Declares Foraker Act
- This is the signing of the Platt amendment, it's an amendment that forces Cuba to verify with America before making a treaty. Cubans were not happy with this decision, as they did not want to be under the control of America.
- China's New Open Door Tax
- Two Filippino men are discussing Cuba's new position as a protectorate of the United States. They don't want to be under anybody, so hearing that they are now protected by the US is humiliating.
- The Boxer Rebellion
- The US president declares the Foraker Act, declaring government in Puerto Rico for the first time ever. Puerto Rican and American audiences join the announcement.
- A factory manager is being yelled at to pay his taxes because of china's new policy, enforced by the open door policy, that raises the tax on exported goods.
- Chinese Protesters Gather in the street to shout xenophobic slurs towards the foreigner, encouraging him to leave.
