- Scene 1
- Bah! Humbug! No, I do not. They should just die and decrease the surplus population
- Merry Christmas, sir! Would you like to spare some cash? It's for the poor.
- Scene 2
- Is that all? I don't want to.
- You will be haunted by three spirits, one every midnight.
- Scene 3
- Then leave me! I have done them. I shall live with them.
- I am your mistake, Ebenezer Scrooge, all the things you could have done and did not.
- Scrooge and Bob Cratchet are working when a gentleman visitor arrives. He asks Scrooge if he would like to donate to the poor.
- Scene 4
- Do they have no refuge, no resource?
- Scrooge meets Marley, and Marley warns him about the three spirits that are going to haunt him.
- Scene 5
- He died! No, no!
- I have known him to walk with Tiny Tim upon his shoulder very fast.
- Scrooge is visited by the first spirit, the spirit of Christmas past. The spirit shows him things that he could have done in life.
- Scene 6
- Assure me that I may change these shadows you have shown me. I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all year.
- The spirit of Christmas present shows him the Cratchet family, and their poor conditions. Scrooge starts feeling bad, and the second spirit mocs him.
- Are there no prisons?Are there no workhouses?
- The spirit of Christmas yet to come shows that Tiny Tim dies. and people he knew are stealing from him.
- Scrooge begs the spirit for him to not let Tiny Tim die. Scrooge wakes up feeling better than ever. He pays a kid to buy the Cratchets the prize turkey.
