- Create a scene that represents the majority of the setting of your novel. Describe the setting (time, place, & situation). Then, select 1-2 words that describe the mood of the story. Explain your choice(s).
- Create a scene that includes 2-3 main characters from your novel. Choose your images based on the author’s description. Then, explain the role of each character presented (protagonist, antagonist, etc.).
- Create a scene that represents the initial incident in your novel. Describe the initial incident and explain what conflict that it sets in motion. Label the conflict as internal or external.
