- John, baptize me.
- John is unsure why Jesus wants to be baptized by him.
- I need to be baptized by you, and yet you are coming to me.
- Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.
- John allows it, and baptizes Jesus.
- Jesus is finished being baptized by John.
- After Jesus was baptized the heavens opened for Jesus, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove coming upon him.
- A voice from the heavens is heard, " This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased."
